Are you tired of being told to "boss up," "lean in," or "hustle harder"? Are you dealing with corporate misogyny, systemic racism, ableism, queer- and trans-phobia, fatphobia, sexual harassment, the gender pay gap, and so much more because you live in a world that views the White heterosexual, cisgender male experience as the benchmark and everyone else's experience as niche?
In Dear Patriarchy: A Gaslit Worker's Guide to Surviving the (Corporate) World, intersectional feminists and activists Jennifer Audrie and Lisa Lynn will ignite you with their personal stories, inform you with their research, and arm you with their hard-won knowledge, so you can head back into the boardroom, holding the Feminist toolkit you didn't know you needed, ready to re-write the corporate paradigm.
Jennifer Audrie has worked in both tech and finance for the better part of the last twenty years, working for a range of high-profile corporations. She now uses her wide breadth of knowledge to educate start-ups and small businesses on foundational business practices and helps them gain traction in the market using evolving digital strategies. She was a Riggio Scholar at the New School, where she earned her BA in liberal arts, and lives in Charlotte, NC, with her partner and three children. She is the co-host of the “Dear Patriarchy” podcast.
Lisa Lynn has spent the last twenty years working in the finance and construction industries and has project managed countless landmark London build projects where she developed and supported women-fronted construction teams. She now works alongside Jennifer supporting entrepreneurs in developing bespoke business strategies to support long-term growth using a data-led approach. She holds a master's degree in project management and lives with her partner and son in Hertfordshire, England. She is the co-host of the "Dear Patriarchy" podcast.
